Leaked Microsoft roadmap reveals Office 15, IE 10 and Windows Phone details

Image
If accurate, then this leaked Microsoft roadmap that's just surfaced has revealed due-dates for many of Redmond's forthcoming products. In short, Internet Explorer 10 is due part-way through the year, possibly at the same time that we start getting firm details about Windows 8. Office 15 will enter beta testing partway through 2012 and the become "available" at the start of 2013, although that may not mean for definite it's arriving in stores then. Also there's a Windows Phone launch expected partway through this year labelled as "future investments," which we'd like to hope is a euphemism for Apollo, but again, we can't say that for certain. Oh, and if you're hoping for any revival of Silverlight, we've got some bad news: there's nothing marked on its timeline after the December 2011 release of Version 5.
