Testors Paint

l need some opinions on this. l got a can of testors blue brite to paint a new project. The can started sputtering and l just barly got done. all my paint is stored in the house and temp controlled. Does the paint go bad from sitting or is this on testors????. lt was about 3 years old....Slusher
