I just acquired the MOEBIUS-CHRYSLER-300C hardtop. You know that great looking 56. Now there a few points I would make here.My DAD,S car had a tuck and roll look to the center panels of the interior.I don,t know if that,s correct but using EVERGREEN half round it looks ,to me ,way better than the plain, smooth sides.
Now for the wire wheels.MOEBIUS got the car almost spot on but,the wire wheels ,again ,to me don,t look right. So,the chassis has been modified for wire wheels from an early COBRA kit.HMM! Now for the engine.Follow their beautiful color call outs as shown in the nice color photos. They are correct! The wire wheels in many kits have always been an issue with me
I like wire wheels to look like KELSEY-HAYES or BORANI knock-off wire wheels. To me they just look more real in a scale model car.You can find lots of them at your local car show and model contest. Many vendors do package up wheels and stuff and sell them at a buck or so. Oh , if anyone has any ideas about the best ones for models of AMERICAN cars let,s hear it! Build On ---oldcarguy
