About 20 years ago my dad bought me a AMT 69 GTX convertible kit. At first I was gonna build it as a beater/ junker. At some point I started fitting a roof on it becuase i didn't like the convertible body and was going to make it a custom. Then that project was abondoned and a lot of the kit chassis/ suspension parts got used in other builds. Foe some forgotten resason, I cut the body up into its individual body panel components. Probably for a junkyard/ body shop diorama. Anyways, the individual parts were scattered in parts boxes over the years. Recently, I collected up what I could find that was left over from the original kit. I also found enough parts to fill in the blanks to maybe actually reassemble the body and salvage somthing out of it. I like a challenge sometimes and I decided to have some fun with this. Heres what I'm starting with.
