paint stripper safe on windshield ?

I have a 62 Bonny convert that I built eons ago and I want to strip and repaint the entire model. I broke the whole car down except the windshield. I would rather not break the frame or glass trying to get it out. Anyone know if there is a safe stripper that will not destroy or cloud the glass ? I have actually never stripped paint before. The previous glue bomb was stripped down when I bought it. Thanks for the help
